Zoom Integration

Connect Zoom to PipeLance to automatically sync your meeting recordings and transcripts. Every sales call gets analyzed by the AI, giving you insights into customer conversations, action items, and coaching opportunities.

Requirements

Before connecting Zoom, make sure you meet these requirements:

The free Zoom plan only supports local recordings, which cannot be synced to PipeLance. You need a paid plan with cloud recording capabilities.

How to enable cloud recording: In Zoom, go to Settings then Recording. Turn on "Cloud recording" and enable "Audio transcript" under Advanced cloud recording settings.

Connecting Zoom

To connect your Zoom account:

  1. Go to Settings and select Integrations
  2. Find Zoom and click Connect
  3. Sign in to your Zoom account when prompted
  4. Authorize PipeLance to access your recordings
  5. Choose whether to sync historical recordings

Once connected, new recordings will automatically sync after each meeting ends. Processing usually takes 10 to 30 minutes depending on call length.

What gets synced

PipeLance pulls the following data from your Zoom recordings:

Recordings are matched to contacts based on participant email addresses. The AI uses transcripts to generate summaries, extract action items, and provide coaching insights.

Historical sync

When you first connect Zoom, you can choose to import past recordings. PipeLance can sync recordings from the past 12 months, depending on your Zoom retention settings.

Historical sync runs in the background and may take several hours for large recording libraries. You will see progress in the integration settings.

Troubleshooting

Recording not appearing in PipeLance

Recordings take time to process after a meeting ends. Wait 30 minutes and check again. If the recording still does not appear, verify that:

Transcript missing or incomplete

Make sure "Audio transcript" is enabled in your Zoom recording settings. Transcripts are generated by Zoom and may take additional time after the video is ready. Low audio quality can also result in incomplete transcripts.

Wrong contact matched to recording

PipeLance matches participants by email address. If a participant joined without signing in or used a different email, you can manually associate the recording with the correct contact from the call detail page.

Permission denied error

Your Zoom account administrator may have restricted third-party app access. Ask your Zoom admin to approve PipeLance in the Zoom App Marketplace settings.

Local recordings not syncing

PipeLance can only access cloud recordings. Local recordings stored on your computer are not accessible through the Zoom API. Enable cloud recording in your Zoom settings to sync future meetings.
